BBQ Grill Drain Kit

Tired of rainwater filling up your grill firebox like a bird bath? There is an easy solution! Add our bbq grill drain kit to the bottom of your firebox. A hole is drilled in the firebox floor, a brass fitting secured, and a ball valve threads on. This allows you to control water drainage by opening and closing the valve. Note, you do need access to reach underneath your firebox for operation if your grill is installed in an island.

The Do-It-Yourself Kit includes:

• 1 Step Drill Bit
• 1 Brass Fitting 3/8″-1/2″
• 1 Ball Valve

We can install the drain kit at time of purchase if you select ‘Installed.’

Installation Instructions:

1. Locate the area on the bottom of the firebox where you would like your drain to be located and remove the firebrick above that area.
2. Use the Step Drill Bit to drill a 7/8″ hole downward from the inside the firebox.
3. Install the Brass Fitting inside the firebox and screw on the locking washer and brass nut underneath. Tighten.
4. Thread on the Ball Valve Drain until tight.
