One of the best ways to get your grill going is with a log lighter. Gone are the days of using newspaper or lighter fluid to light your Santa Maria or Argentine Style BBQ grill. JD Fabrications has designed a liquid propane or natural gas log lighter. At the turn of the gas knob and a strike of a match your off to grilling. What I always hated the most about lighting my grill with newspaper is that the newspaper would light on fire and burn out before my wood was ever lit. The problem with using lighter fluid is it leaves a bad after taste. Now you can light your grill and walk away knowing that you will have a fire that is ready to cook on in less time. You can now use this spear time to visit with guest or prep the food that is going on the grill. Another added feature is using a log lighter to light your wood reduces the amount of smoke that is created during the initial light up of hardwood. Almost done cooking but running out of heat? You can stoke your fire by kicking on the gas.

    Definitely worth adding

I added the stainless steel option - I already had a natural gas light that terminated by the grill; took just a bit of searching on Amazon to get all the right connections. Work's great, logs get to embers quickly.
